The project involved the repair and restoration of a microwave communication system in Vietnam, crucial for re-establishing damaged communication due to lightning strikes. The work was commissioned by one of the first foreign joint venture companies in the Vietnamese oil and gas industry, and HTTS was responsible for the execution.

Technical Status:
- Exterior rust due to rain and heat damage.
- Internal power modules damaged.
Solution:
- Obtain technical specifications for damaged components.
- Sourcing and replacement with new power module components which satisfies technical requirements.
- Connection test before mounting back on communication towers and re-integrate with system.

Solution:
- Obtain technical specifications for damaged components.
- Sourcing and replacement with new electronic components which satisfies technical requirements.

LIST OF EQUIPMENTS USED FOR TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT

Oscilloscope

Oscilloscope used for testing propagation electrical signals, connections between electronic components, between electronic devices, and propagation signals in space.

Spectrum Analyzer

Spectrum Analyzer used to check the quality, the parameters of tens of GHz high-frequency signals. The machine will indicate the frequency, power, bandwidth, and interference rate of the high-frequency transceiver.

RF Power Sensors

Each sensor utilizes real-time processing and enhanced hardware triggering to capture even the most elusive signals. The sensors, in combination with the included Power Analyzer software measure pulsed, bursted, and modulated signals used in radars, wireless communications, consumer electronics as well as education and research applications.

PROJECT RESULTS

The following technical and business achievements enabled the client to restore the communication system under the shortest possible time and lowest cost involved to resume activities:
- Full restoration of communication system.
- Strict adherence to safety and environmental protocols.
- Utilisation of specialized equipment, manpower for high-altitude and remote work.
- Project completed on time (just less than 20 days) and within technical specifications, with cost of approximately just 20% compared to whole systematic replacement approach.
